How Sagas works

Sagas is a curated home for characters. Every character has its own coin. The artists who draw it and the writers who tell its story are paid from its trading, and anyone can add new characters to its world.

Version 0.9.1, working prototypeLast updated 29 October 2026Live on Solana

1Summary

  • A saga is a main character with its own coin. You start one with a picture and a name, and the coin is paired with SOL.
  • A story is a side character added under a saga. Its coin is paired with the main character's coin, so buying the story also buys the main character.
  • Every trade pays a small fee. The split is set when the coin launches and cannot be changed afterwards: the creator, the artist, a burn of the main character's coin, and the platform.
  • Artists come first. A share of every trade waits for whoever draws the character. Writers, called Skalds, write its story and can be paid too.
  • Everything is curated. Each launch is read before its coin is made. Copies, crude names, real people and brands are turned away.
  • Sagas never holds anyone's coins. Payments go straight from the trade to the people who earned them.
Where we are

Sagas is a working prototype. Everything marked Live on this page works today on Solana with real coins. Things marked Being built or Planned are not live yet. See the roadmap.

2The problem

Launching a coin now takes a minute. That part is solved. What is missing is the layer on top: a place that decides which characters deserve a coin, pays the people who create them, and lets a character grow into a world.

1. There is no curation layer

Thousands of coins launch every day. Original characters sit next to copies, low-effort pictures and coins named after real people. A buyer has no easy way to tell a real creative project from noise, and good characters get lost.

2. The people who make the character are rarely paid

A meme coin often lives on one drawing. The artist who drew it usually earns nothing from its trading. Writers who build its story are not paid at all. So the people who make a character worth caring about have little reason to keep making it.

3. A coin is one picture, then nothing

Most coins are a single image and a ticker. Communities want more: new characters, new chapters, a world they help build. Today, a new character usually means a new, unrelated coin that pulls attention away from the first one.

3The solution

Sagas adds the creative layer that launching alone does not have. It works with the launch platforms people already use rather than replacing them.

4Sagas and stories

A saga is a main character and everything built around it. Its book holds chapter 1, written from the character's lore, and one chapter for every side character added later.

A saga and its stories The main character coin, paired with SOL, sits at the top. Three side characters, each paired with the main character coin, hang below it. SOL paired with Main character: Bork The saga. Coin: $BORK each paired with $BORK Pawsley Story. Coin: $PAWS The rival Story. Its own coin The old friend Story. Its own coin
Figure 1. Bork is the main character. Anyone can add a side character to his saga. Each one has its own coin, paired with $BORK.

Two ways to start a saga

  • Start a new character. Add a picture, a name and a symbol, then launch. The coin is made on Pump.fun and paired with SOL. Live
  • List a meme that already exists. A coin already trading can become a saga if it has hand-drawn art with the artist named and written lore. The lore becomes chapter 1. Live

Keepers

The wallets that receive a coin's creator rewards are its Keepers. They set the saga's lore and its 3 to 5 core values with the help of Snorri, Sagas' assistant. Every story added under the saga carries those values.

5Buying a story

A story is paired with its main character's coin. To buy $PAWS, your SOL first buys $BORK, and that $BORK goes into the $PAWS pool. While it is there, it is out of circulation.

Buying a story SOL buys the main character coin, which moves into the story's pool. Selling the story releases it. Part of every fee burns the main character coin for good. You pay SOL one approval buys $BORK the main character moves into The $PAWS pool $BORK held here, out of circulation selling $PAWS releases the $BORK 10% of every story fee burns $BORK for good
Figure 2. Buying a story buys the main character and holds it in the story's pool. Selling releases it, so nothing is locked for good. Only the burn is permanent.

This is why a new side character supports the main one instead of competing with it: every story holds some of the main character's coin, and part of every story's fee burns it.

6Who gets paid

Each coin pays a creator fee on every trade. Sagas splits that fee between up to four wallets. The split is set on the chain when the coin launches and cannot be changed afterwards. The person who launches does not get a separate launch reward. As the creator, they get the creator share like anyone else would.

The two fee splits A new saga: 54% creator, 36% artist, 10% platform. A story: 45% creator, 30% artist, 10% burns the main character coin, 15% platform. A new saga Creator 54% Artist 36% 10% A story (side character) Creator 45% Artist 30% Burn 10% Platform 15%
Figure 3. Shares of the coin's creator fee. Light blue: the creator. Green: the artist. Orange: burns the main character's coin. Grey: the platform.

A story's coin pays a 2% creator fee on each trade, on top of the launch platform's own fee. A new saga uses the launch platform's standard creator fee.

No promises about price

A burn makes the supply smaller. It says nothing about the price. Nothing on Sagas is a promise that any coin will go up.

7Curation

Every launch is read before its coin is made. This is the core of Sagas: it is what makes a character on Sagas worth looking at.

Real people, brands, and other people's famous charactersCharacters drawn by an artist, named and credited

A launch without a picture can start with a sketch by Snorri. That sketch is always marked as made with AI, and an artist can draw the real picture later.

8Artists

Artists can see which characters are waiting for a drawing and how much is waiting for them, and choose what to draw.

  1. Send a drawing. Any artist can send one for a character. Likes help the creator decide, but only the creator picks.
  2. Get picked. The picked artist receives the artist share for 90 days. The creator can keep them for another 90 days with one tap.
  3. Open work. After that, any artist can send new work: scenes, poses, versions. The creator accepts what they like, and the money waiting that week is shared by the artists whose work was accepted.
  4. Nothing is wasted. Artist money nobody earns in 30 days goes to the writer whose branch last won the weekly fork. If there is none, it burns.

Each drawing that is picked can also be sold as NFT copies. See NFTs and relics.

9Writers (Skalds)

Under every saga's book is a public writers' room. Its writers are called Skalds.

  • People ask to join with their name and X account. The saga's Keepers say yes.
  • Skalds post signed tales. Tales can continue each other. Snorri checks each one against the saga's lore.
  • Keepers mark the best tales as Canon, the official story.
  • AI helpers are allowed, and every tale they helped draft says so.

The Saga Tree and the weekly fork

Each saga's story is drawn as a tree: the Canon is the trunk and the other tales are branches. Every week the story stops at a fork.

One week of the fork Days 1 to 4: Skalds write one branch each. Days 5 to 7: holders vote. The winning branch becomes Canon. Days 1 to 4: Skalds write one branch each Days 5 to 7: holders vote by what they hold The winning branch becomes Canon, and the next week starts from it.
Figure 4. The weekly fork. Anyone can also download a saga's whole story for Obsidian.

Skalds can earn in two ways: copies of a Canon tale sold as NFTs, and the artist money nobody earned (see Artists, step 4). There are no promised amounts or dates.

10NFTs and relics

Sagas NFTs are made for the people who buy them. An artist does not need an NFT of their own drawing, so the money goes to burning the coin and to the artist.

  • Every saga has one collection. The artist receives 5% of every resale.
  • The NFTs use Metaplex Core, the current Solana NFT standard, so they show in Solana wallets and on marketplaces that support it. Marketplace listing being set up

11The $SAGAS coin

$SAGAS is Sagas' own coin, on Solana. Half of its own creator fee goes to a burn wallet that buys $SAGAS and burns it. Half of the platform's share from every coin on Sagas also buys $SAGAS and burns it. The more people create on Sagas, on any chain, the more $SAGAS is burned.

Planned The launch date and address of $SAGAS will be announced on sagas.fun. Until then, any $SAGAS coin you see is not ours.

12Why we start on Pump.fun

A new character needs attention and traders on day one. Pump.fun is where most new Solana coins are launched in 2026, so building on it puts every saga where people already look.

  • Fee sharing. Pump.fun can split a coin's creator fee across up to 10 wallets and lock that split for good. This is what lets Sagas pay the creator, the artist and the burn straight from each trade.
  • Pairing. Since October 2026 a Pump.fun coin can be paired with another Pump.fun coin. This is what makes stories possible.
  • Growth. Pump.fun has started to reach beyond Solana, adding trading on Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain in 2026. Sagas is built to grow the same way.

Stories under memes that already moved to other Solana markets use Meteora, with the same split. Sagas adds to these platforms. It does not compete with them.

13Multi-chain

Creativity is not limited to one chain, and neither is Sagas. The goal is one creative platform across chains, with the same rules everywhere: curated characters, artists and writers paid, and stories that add to their main character.

Sagas across chains Solana is live and holds $SAGAS. Robinhood Chain is being built. Ethereum and BNB Chain are planned. The platform's share from every chain ends as $SAGAS burned on Solana. Solana Live $SAGAS is bought and burned here Robinhood Chain Being built Ethereum Planned BNB Chain Planned

14Roadmap

Sagas today is a working prototype: the core works with real coins, and much is still to come. We list no dates. Each step goes live once it is tested.

Now: the working prototype Live

  • Start a saga or add a story on one screen, on Solana.
  • Curation of every launch; listing existing memes with hand-drawn art and lore.
  • Fee splits locked at launch; artist rewards; the platform's share burning $SAGAS.
  • The book of every saga, Skalds, Canon, the Saga Tree and the weekly fork.
  • Numbered NFT copies of drawings, Canon tales and Relics of Frug.
  • Explore, Ranks, profiles, and the Telegram and Discord community run by Snorri.

Next Being built

  • The first launches by people from outside the team, with a guided first launch.
  • The $SAGAS coin.
  • Robinhood Chain, through our own Uniswap v4 hook.
  • Sagas NFTs listed on Magic Eden, Tensor and OpenSea.
  • Fees after a story leaves its first market, so the split keeps paying everywhere.
  • Alerts for creators, artists and Skalds when something needs them.

Later Planned

  • Ethereum and BNB Chain.
  • Permanent storage for every picture and tale.
  • Better tools for artists and writers to work together on a saga.

15Safety and trust

  • Sagas never holds your coins. Every launch, trade and payment is approved in your own wallet. Fees go from the trade straight to the wallets in the split.
  • Splits cannot be changed. They are written on the chain at launch and locked.
  • Reviewed code. The site has been through security reviews, and every change is tested before it goes live.
  • Credit is honest. Anything made with AI is marked as made with AI. Hand-drawn art always names its artist.
  • No price promises. Coins are risky. Only spend what you can afford to lose. Read the Terms.
